July 2018 - I presented my thesis and was presented the UNIGIS International Association Award in Salzburg.
March 2018 - I've been asked to present my thesis at the GI_Forum in Salzburg, Austria this summer. I’ll also be writing an article for the GI_Forum journal.
December 2017 - I've been awarded The UNIGIS International Association (UIA) Academic Excellence prize by The UNIGIS Global Network of Universities for my work during obtaining my MSc.
December 2016 - I've been awarded the UNIGIS UK prize for best MSc Dissertation, (sponsored by Manchester Airport). The title is: Exploring vernacular perceptions of spatial entities: A case study using social media data and R for delimiting vague, informal neighbourhoods in Central London, UK. I attempted to delimit vague, informal neighbourhoods in Central London based on social media (Twitter) data and R software.
